Jaana’s home is full of shiny trophies and cats with lustrous, shiny coats. Jaana has been breeding Somali cats and Abyssinian cats since 2001 under the name FI*Kharn-Ka. She got her first Somali cat in 1997 and since then her cats have been the stars of many cat shows. All her Kharn-Ka cats are praised for their excellent, shiny coats and grooming.

However, health and character are her primary goals in breeding. She conditions her cats already from a very young age to be social, so that it is possible to take them anywhere. Jaana is interested in nutrition and she always chooses natural foods that are free from additives or food preservatives. Jaana’s first contact with Nutrolin® products was, when her old Broholmer dog (Danish mastiff) needed Nutrolin® HIP & JOINT for her arthritis. The supplement really helped the old dog, so it was natural to try Nutrolin® products for her cats as well.

Jaana starts to give Nutrolin® KITTEN & ADULT oil to her kittens when they are small and learning to eat solid food. The expectant queens also take it. Jaana has noticed that Nutrolin® CAT SENIOR works both for joints and also helps support cats who have kidney problems, as part of a special diet.

The most successful Kharn-Ka cats at the moment are World Winner Kharn-Ka Your Choice (Konsta) and Mediterranean and Baltic Winner Kharn-Ka Taygeta Taurus (Sherry). Still a junior, Kuisma (Kharn-Ka Ciaran Mojave) received the World Winner title in 2018!

The three cats have impressive lists of titles. For example, Konsta alone has FOUR winner titles, which is really exceptional:
