Susanna Särkijärvi is the new Head of Product Development at Olini Oy

Susanna Särkijärvi (MSc) has been appointed Head of Product Development at Olini Oy as of 1 May 2026. She officially assumed her role on 4 May 2026. Särkijärvi succeeds Dr. Mikko Griinari, PhD in Animal Nutrition, who is retiring from his day-to-day duties. 

Särkijärvi is an expert in animal nutrition with extensive and versatile experience in the pet industry, spanning both research and business.
She joins Olini Oy from Rovio Pet Foods. 

Her appointment supports Olini Oy’s strategic direction and ensures that the development of Nutrolin® products will continue to be grounded in scientific research, strong nutritional expertise, and a commitment to improving the wellbeing of dogs, cats, and horses.

I am certainly stepping into big shoes after Mikko, but I am ready for the challenge,” Särkijärvi says.
